Who we are
Cronache di ordinario razzismo is a Website that monitors regular and institutional racism since 2011, edited by Lunaria.
Our goal is to promote and spread a culture based on citizenship rights and equal opportunities. Racism and xenophobia are a national and European threat. The frequent episodes of institutional racism and the growing number of communication channels that facilitate the propagation of the racist discourse, make our work more necessary than ever.
We collect reports directly through a form on the website, telephone and email and monitor the Web and media to report, denounce and analyze prejudices, stereotypes and racist violence that circulate in the Italian (and European) world of information, society and politics.
In almost 10 years of work we have gathered in a searchable database here more than 6800 cases that offer a synthetic narrative of the phenomenon of racism and its evolution. We provide daily news and updates on the most relevant facts on migration and asylum policies and on legislation and jurisprudence on the subject of discrimination and racism.
We report and collect reports, articles, and new books on the subjects we work with. We publish thematic focuses, research reports and white papers that are consulted here.
Our priority is to activate daily anti-racism. This is way we promote and participate in information campaigns and initiatives, protests aimed at combating racism in every way and promoting an open and welcoming society.
A public space
Our is a work tool open to the collaboration of all and all those who repudiate all forms of discrimination and racism and take action to fight them.
